Today is an historic day as Queen Elizabeth II, patron of the Scout Association becomes the only British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee!
Today marks the day that the Queen (then Princess Elizabeth) ascended to the British throne 70 years ago, following the passing of King George VI in 1952, marking the start of her Platinum Jubilee!
Today we join Scouts across the nation, and the Commonwealth, in sending our congratulations and warmest wishes to Her Majesty on this fantastic occasion and are looking forward to celebrating this National celebration later in the Year on our District Camp.
